One of the largest solar power companies in the world, Canadian Solar Inc. has revealed that it will be partnering up with Signal Energy in order to offer services including Engineering, Procurement and Construction as well as provide solar modules for ESCO Pacific’s Finley Solar farm in New South Wales, Australia.
They will provide their services alongside Signal energy and supply their 1500V crystalline module to the solar power plant. This strengthens their position in Australia and gives them a greater presence, where they are committed to giving customer in Australia as well as the world, the chance to benefit from solar energy.
Built on 1,000 acres of land, the solar plant will include almost 500,000 of Canadian Solar’s 1500v high-efficiency modules. These will be installed on single-axis solar tracking systems and upon completion, it will have the ability to provide power for more the 90,000 homes in the area whole preventing more than 400,000 tonnes of emissions each year.
This is an exciting market that Signal Energy is also moving into Australia and the President, Greg Pawson believes that the success in the United States enables them to be a success in Australia. They delivered value for customers by optimising solar projects and executing them accordingly. While their experience on an international level proves just why they are part of this project.
The Australian market has welcomed Signal Energy with open arms and the confidence that ESCO has shown has really given them the scope to make all the right moves alongside Canadian Solar. The focus of Canadian Solar is to provide creative technical and commercial solutions that work perfectly well with Signal’s mission and that is why this is a significant collaboration for both parties.
The project has only just begun construction but it should be completed by October 2019.
